  De Bruyne has returned to Manchester City training and a new video has shown Guardiola greeting all of his players as they step out for training. When the Catalan notices De Bruyne's striking new haircut, he wastes no time in poking fun at the Belgian. Indeed, he appears to have taken some notes from striker Erling Haaland.

• WHAT GUARDIOLA SAID

  After a jovial greeting, Guardiola points at De Bruyne's slicked-back, tight haircut – complete with a top knot – and says: "You have to explain to me this hair!"

• THE GOSSIP

  De Bruyne may actually leave City before the end of the summer transfer window. Reports suggest he has agreed terms with Al-Ittihad over a move to Saudi Arabia, although there is no agreement over a fee as yet and Guardiola has expressed his desire for the 33-year-old to stay put.
